Lovely day in Union Square: Santacon, too much liquor (as per usual), an early xmas present from Tiffany & Co, a quick stop at the Chanel trolley, drunken shopping, and dinner with good friends. Amazing.

Cross body neon loving: DVF Harper Mini Crossbody. This impromptu mid-workday shopping splurge turned into one of my favorite little bags for going out. Neon pink always makes a statement.

Short anecdote: Ever since my trusty little black wristlet has let me down, I’ve found myself increasingly attracted to cross body bags. The faulty zipper on my wristlet led to a stolen iPhone whilst dancing around in the Marina. Sad. Even more depressing - my purse was pick-pocketed whilst roaming around Polk the following weekend and lost yet another iPhone! Two iPhones, two weekends in a row.

Lesson learned: must have trusty cross body that is not easily pick-pocketable.

San Francisco update: After a few wild months in New York, I’ve finally settled down in beautiful SF. It’s amazing how much more my life has settled down these days. Cozy and comfortable
It’s hard to maintain a blog, but I try to update this every now and then. It’s nice to look back and re-read my little updates, browse through my past styles/purchases, or listen to the songs of the moment…

To London we go: Hello, we are officially licensed today! To celebrate, E and I decided to splurge on a couple of to-die-for (and I honestly mean… I DIE) David Yurman buckle bracelets. Big girl, grown up friendship bracelets.
This summer has been… In every sense, unreal. In retrospect, sometimes I seriously can’t believe how unbelievable the experience has been. I dread the day I have to leave (which is in 3 days). I know I want to either transfer back to New York, transfer to London, or both. Hence our bracelets represent our efforts to make it to London.
On the other hand, another part of me is so stoked to return to San Francisco and see everyone. See you soon, bay area! Back to West Coast/ Best Coast in 3 days!

Skinny Love - Birdy

Coworker love: My Ballon looks so baby next to MM’s Patek. Do you think he would notice if we traded watches?! Love.  (Taken with Instagram)

Love: My boyfriend is the best. Look what just came in the mail from J!! I mean, who doesn’t love a little orange box…

Blue and gold = our alma mater colors. #gobears

What’s in my bag: Chanel Classic Flap edition.

Not to play favorites, but I mean… come on. I honestly love this bag to death, and the fact that it’s patent means I can take it out without worrying too much about the wine that spills on it from time to time haha. Now what do I keep in my purse…
1. Giant Ferragamo wallet that takes up pretty much all the space
2. Metro cards galore (I lose them like crazy)
3. Cheap lip stain
4. Bobby pins and hair tie
5. A pen. So essential.

Update: Apologies again for the lack of posting! Life has been CRAY. For a California girl like me, New York is a different beast — I love it. One fun thing that happened last week: We had a lovely event at Saks, which included champagne and hors d’oeurves, a fashion show, a senior women speaker panel, make up demos courtesy of Laura Mercier, and SHOPPING! Unfortunately, I’ve been burning through my paycheck so quickly I’m not in the position to be making any large purchases soon. Overall, it’s been lovely here!

Missing West Coast/Best Coast, but definitely enjoying my time on the East Coast.

Accessorize me: Staples appropriate for work. Looking at my blog, you know that I love a LOT of jewelry. However, call me conservative, but I still don’t feel comfortable wearing statement jewelry in the work place. Maybe someday when I’m not so junior in the hierarchy, I can wear whatever I want.

Silver: Cartier Ballon Bleu, Hermes Clic-Clac, Michael Kors buckle bangle, and giant Swarovski lever-back earrings.

Gold: Michael Kors watch, Michael Kors buckle bangle, and Kenneth Jay Lane infinity loop necklace.

Obsessed with this song.

Balenciaga and NYC update: Hi hi all! I know it’s been a few weeks since my last post. It’s hard to find time for blogging these days… In the past month I have:
1) Had my last hurrah in Vegas
2) Said goodbye to sunny Los Angeles
3) Moved into my new apartment in San Francisco
4) Jet-setted off to New York
5) Started officially training and exploring NYC

It’s been a lot on my plate but so incredibly exciting! The best part of training is that the firm puts us up in these lovely luxury apartments. So for the next two months, I’ll be living here next to Madison Square Garden slash Penn Station. And my view is the Empire State Building! How wonderful :)

The iPhone serves it’s purpose, but it hardly takes pictures worthy enough for blog quality. So sorry no pics of our city adventures yet, but here’s a quickie picture of my latest purchase. Introducing the newest member to the collection: my first Balenciaga!

Also, I’m realizing how expensive it is to go out in NYC… espesh without my wonderfully generous boyfriend (haha!). Does anyone have any recommendations for fun places I should try in the city??

M: “Promises. And it still feels awesome wasted by myself”

A: “Those are definitely not the lyrics”

Pretty much sums up the night…

I love this clutch. It’s my great grand aunt’s, hand-beaded for her when she came to the US from Hong Kong about 60 years ago (true story!! cool, right?)
